All of the photos in the collection were taken within an hour time frame. This meant that I could keep the camera setting for the image relatively similar once I had the look I wanted on the test images. I was able to use a lot of natural light that was coming into the room. This meant that the photos that I took did not have to rely heavily on artificial brightness in the image therefore reducing the amount of grain in the photos to where it is not noticeable. I have also been able to use filters on the camera which meant that I had a lot more room to apply and edit certain colours throughout the collection.
I also used a variety of different shot types to make sure that I could capture all of the photos that I needed. I mainly used both wide and narrow shot types this is because I wanted the images to focus on the strong center subject. I also experimented with low and high angle shots to add some variety to the collection.
For the shots that worked the best in the final collection I personally really liked the worms eye shots because of the weird effect that they had on the image. I also really liked the shots which I took which I had deliberately blurred out parts of the image. This allowed me to be able to focus on specific parts of the image such as the pasties or the label allowing me to create much more interesting images. I tried to use some images that had a change in light and focus but these came out either too overexposed or too blurry to use effectively for the collection.
The settings were:
F-Stop: 5.6
ISO: 800
Exposure: 1/25
