LO2: Final Rationale

 Idea

My first idea for my portfolio was to take photos for the release of new pasty I will use these photos to create promotional materials for the company. The company that I will be taking photos for is carrs pasties. The photos will be taken to promote a new flavour of pasty I will take a variety of different photos such as pasties on a plate pasties being eaten and looked at. I will use high key and low key lighting as well as using a large amount of different amounts of distances and zooms to create different feels to the photos. The photos will then be presented to the client and then receive feedback from the client.

LO2: Legal And Ethical

Legal:

For the legal considerations there are not that many as I have already gained the permission to use the location as well the brand logos and other products that may be in the photos. This means that I have already got the client to sign a consent and release form. This means that I have free use of their products and brands. Because of this i do not have to worry about copyright in any of my photos. The only legal consideration that I have to take into account is that the people in the photos consent to being in them. For example I will need to get any models that I use to sign release and consent forms to show that they are happy with me using their figure in the photos.

Ethical:

In terms of ethical considerations I will need to make sure that the images are not promoting any inappropriate language or any inappropriate themes. Such as swearing gang violence. Overrating and i will have to make sure that I use a lot of different shots to not mislead the audience by taking photos that do not look as the product actually does misleading the audience (false advertising).
